Our relationship with God is not a 9 to 5 job. It is a life-long process. This relationship with God grows with us from the time of our birth, is shaped by our baptism and accompanies us throughout our lives. We consider faith as a life-long process. The department of Faith Formation offers a comprehensive program of faith-sharing, starting with four-year olds called Church Time. We accompany the community through Childhood, youth, young adult and adulthood.
We follow nationally recognized and diocese approved catechetical programs to help us with our attempt to capture the calling of Christ Jesus. Youth meet in groups of ten or less to explore what it means to be a disciple of Christ.
- Church Time for 4 year-olds to KN is held on Sundays during the 10:15 AM Mass.
It is a lectionary-based, fun-oriented, activity-packed program to introduce children into the understanding of the faith at their level.
- Grades 1 and 2 is held on Sundays during the 10:15 AM Mass
The program helps the children to explore their relationship with God which will culminate in the reception of the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist. The children meet with adult catechists to further their faith.
- Grades 3 to 5 is held on Tuesdays from 6:15 to 7:30 PM
- Grades 6 to 11 is held on Wednesdays from 6:15 to 7:45 PM
- Young Adults/Adults
We will be offering faith oriented programs for young adults and adults to nourish their faith. We seek to deepen our faith by exploring theology, Christian history, world religions, Scripture and the teachings of the Church. Watch the bulletin for more details.
